Interview Meme!
In my blog browsing, I came across a great meme at Belle on Her Toes. Because I'm pretty much a meme slut, I left a comment begging, "Pick me! Pick me!" She was kind enough to respond. Here's how it works: 1. Leave me a comment saying, Interview me. So here are the questions I get to answer: 1) What is the secret to your happiness? Boy, that's a loaded question. I don't know if I've found it yet, to be honest. What makes me happiest is laughing with my friends and family. And good health in my family -- that makes me happy. Finding ways to nurture myself and make sure these things exist in my life -- health and humor, time with loved ones, but also having enough time alone to recharge. 2) What are your favorite hobbies? Reading is the number one favorite, hands down. Next would be listening to music and finding cool new artists (new to me, anyway). I also like to tinker with witchy stuff, like tarot cards and herbs. I'm working on learning to knit, so that's a new one, along with belly dance. I also love to drum and work out at the gym (I know, I'm a freak). 3) What is your earliest childhood memory? Waking up from a dream and not being sure if my waking life was real, or just another dream. I think I was four. I have flashes that are earlier than that of crawling down a hallway, but I'm not sure how real that is. 4) What is your favorite life memory? Do I have to pick just one? I cherish the births of all my children, the moments I learned I was having them, my wedding, holding Jasmine as she died, the warmth of my family and friends at her reception... I could go on. It seems like the answers to this question are related to the answers in the first one. 5) What are you looking forward to most? Getting old and wise and then facing the last great mystery with anticipation and peace. Thanks, Bonnie! Now all you readers out there... leave me a comment so I can interview you! Don't miss the first entry of the day, in which we shared some exciting news about Jeffrey and the current state of my health. Wee, I feel dizzy, and I don't think it's just being an air-head. Gotta love respiratory infections.
