Marriage is love.

Gnash! Gnash! GNASH!!

I'm sure it is no accident that no sooner did I make up my list of things to do before I'm 40, than did I discover that JournalCon (which is on my list) is being held this year in San Diego. Oh the joy! But then I discovered that it is being held the weekend of October 21. Oh the sorrow! And gnashing of teeth! Because that is the weekend that witchcamp starts in Texas, and it's a camp that is working with the story of Dionysos, a camp I really need to attend. More teeth-gnashing. Neither of these events is likely to change their dates. Gnash, gnash, gnash!

What am I going to do? Wait another year to meet my DL friends in the flesh? It seems so bloody CRUEL that this is happening!

Okay, now that I have the melodrama out of my system, if camp doesn't work out (and that is a possibility, due to childcare issues), then I will go to JournalCon in San Diego. And if I do go to camp, I will do JournalCon in 2006 and visit LA in the fall.
