ilmomof3- I stumbled upon your site through rowan (a friend from grade school) and my most sincere regrets to you and your family. The story about the dragonfly was so touching and beautiful and I think that getting the dragonfly tattoos is a wonderful way to honor your daughter. I wish you and your family nothing but peace, harmony, health and happiness.

I'm not sure what to say there is so little that can console you at a time like this. What I can say is that I admire you guys so much for doing everything that you could possibly do for Jasmine. Since talking to Charla a few weeks ago, I've been keeping up with the updates on your website. Your entry on the 15th telling the news of Jasmine's passing and relating the story of the dragonfly was so beautifully written and so touching. My heart hurts for you. She was obviously a VERY special girl and I'm glad you were able to have some wonderful times with her recently. Those are the memories you will treasure. I will be with you in spirit next Saturday. ~Karen

i've just returned to read your journal as i had said i would before i became so distracted with my mother's illness. i'm so very sorry for the heartbreak you are suffering in losing Jasmine. i apologize, being stunned, and reading backward to this point, i am at a loss for words. while we don't know each other, please know that as a mother, i understand the magnitude of losing your child, and how hard it must be to be strong for Jasmine's sisters. i wish you continuing strength in your healing.
