Of course not crying all the time and not giving up on your own life doesn't mean you somehow love Jasmine less than these other parents love their children. Everybody grieves differently; you know that. And the "pre-grieving" does prepare you...Alex lost his grandpa last May to cancer, but we all knew it was coming. It didn't hurt any less, but we had time to prepare...more importantly; *he* had time to prepare, and that's where I think the big difference may lie. Also, these other parents, do they have other children? I think it's probably much harder to devote yourself to grief when you still have little ones dependent on you for everything...and that's a *good* thing. So don't beat yourself up for not being like these other parents...you're *not* like them, you're like *you*, and that's a good thing, too. ::HUGS::
