I do put my weight in my weight loss journal. Sometimes I journal what I eat. I'm really bad about that, so I'm not very regular. Mostly, I just write about the struggles and successes I have with food and exercise. Weight Watchers is a great thing, but I think my diet personality has changed from moderate to loose. I have to be avle to di it every day or it'll get old. No food weighing for me. No regular point counting. Instead, I divide my plate 4 ways and get my fruits, veggies, protein and complex carbs in each meal... or try to. No processed carbs or white flour, only eating food that remembers where it came from, etc. etc. Then I write about it when I have a Mocha Malt Frappachino and skiv off my Pilates. *sigh*

When I had some serious weight to lose (after the "freshman 15" plus), I really had to completely overhaul my eating. For instance, I didn't eat anything other than fruit or whole wheat toast after say 7:30pm. It was really hard for many months, but now I don't have an appetite after dinner, so that's cool. I think my eating at that time of day was more about comfort than hunger. But my weakness surrounding Merlot is another story ;o) I love Heather's suggestions about avoiding white flour etc. And I too am struggling with getting the exercise to happen with some regularity. It's too easy for me to talk myself out of it. But one thing I thought about was finding a song you really like and working on a belly dance "drill" of sorts that would only take a few minutes, but would hopefully be a fun way to burn some calories.

I want to lose weight so bad, but its so hard for me to get off my fat ass and do something about it. I think I just need someone to push me cause I can't do it myself. Well I can't say i haven't lost anything cause I went from a size 15 to a 12, but I can't tell. How can I work my legs to ton them up ,because the skin justs hangs and its nasty. Email me and let me know please.

I know I am probably the last one to talk aout weight loss or maybe I should be the first as I am the queen of yoyo dieting. Anyway, point is, don't trust your scale too much. If you were just watching what you were eating and not exercising it would mean a lot more, but you are exercising and trading in fat for muscle. Muscle weighs more than fat. Trust your clothes. They will be the ones that tell you where you've taken it off and toned it up.

Keep up with the good work. EVERYONE hits a plateau. GREAT to see that you have made a plan to keep up with the exercise though. I have to do that! I went for my first session at Ballys and I am in a LOT of pain. The trainer pushed me BEYOND my limits and I am a lil turned off by the whole thing now but I REFUSE to let that get in my way! I am DETERMINED to lose this weight if it kills me! LoL I am however anticipating being able to do what I want to when I go in to the gym. I know my body and I DEFINITELY need to work up to what I was doing on Tuesday. But I did however learn a few great exercises. In short, I guess, keep up the GREAT work and try not to be too hard on yourself! The fact that you acknowledge the situation and are trying to do something about it says a LOT , about your goals and your character. So give yourself a pat on the back for taking responsibility, and then do a couple sets of lunges or something! (LOL)
