Three vehicles, three drivers. In which one do you think Nina will be? Not in mine! Just kidding. I'm not that much of an ass. We will take turns with her. Et Tu, Waylon? HEHE!

Okay send me Nina overnite express, or make it one hour delivery, a Grandma special. Then you can take as long as you need. Wish it was possible!! Give my girl's a kiss & hug, see you soon. Love, Mom

If it helps at all, driving always makes my kids sleep. We've done the round trip Seattle to Phoenix thing, and the Seattle to L.A. thing. If you're lucky, Nina will just snooze. What about staying awake all night in a hotel, you ask? I found that didn't happen. It's just all so exhausting, and as soon as you all lay down and shut off the light, she'll drop off too. *crossing my fingers*

Oh... the thing you don't know is that Nina LOATHES the car seat, rarely sleeps and is a terrible traveler. She's logged lots of Bloomington-St. Louis and Bloomington-Chicago trips. She's getting marginally better, but three ten hour days will truly be a test. Deb gave us some good tips last night -- we'll still need those crossed fingers!

Maybe it's the car seat? Francis has grown so fast we needed to get another seat, so we splurged and got the Britax Marathon...it's the LazyBoy of car seats, so plush and comfortable, and #1 recommended for safety. Goes up to 65 lbs, too. Francis doesn't fuss in his seat anymore...would it be worth a try at this late date?
