Thank you for the kind words, darling. The reason I haven't left you any notes over the past couple of days is that I have no idea about any music after about 1989. (I know, I'm pathetic. And old.) I do hope you track down your mystery reader. I'm sure it will all become clear some time soon - I've been in a similar position at times and the "culprit" usually reveals him/herself before too long! And obviously they enjoyed your words or they wouldn't have stayed so long, silly! Love, R xxx

Yes! Yes! You MUST come next year!! My only complaint was how few of the women I hung with had kids and/or husbands. Not that I was wanting to be all momsy, far from it. It just would have been nice to have some more friends who 'get it', you know? Besides, I'm selfish enough to want you there for my own sake and so I can hug you in person. ~LA

I wonder if not leaving a comment could be about performance anxiety. A comment to a new person is like an introduction, and if I read something great online, I want to do that justice. A few times I've opened the comments, typed a few "drafts," and finally just realized that I couldn't find the words to say what I wanted to say. (I'm even having that reaction to this very comment, but I'm going to click done anyway.)

I don't pay attention to the site stats, but I probably should. If IP's are getting logged, you can at least track them down to an ISP and perhaps guess from there how they came upon your journal. I am guilty of chasing friends of friends and reading archives for hours when I'm procrastinating something else. I don't know the person I'm reading, but I might know of them, and it would just feel weird to say, "Hi, I'm a loser who has nothing better to do that snoop around my friend's friends journals." *snarf* Just one possible perspective.

I'm one of the great note leavers? Wow! Thank you, I deeply appreciate that. I have to say, there are some entries about Jasmine in which I'm so touched, but I feel like I don't have the right to make a comment because I can't even begin to imagine what you and your family must have gone through when you lost her. Your last entry, when you talked about looking for signs in her diary that she knew what was coming, and the fact that she didn't seem to see death ahead, truly made me think. I think it was special...she got to be a little girl and live her life without worrying or really contemplating death. We lose that ability to just live our lives, long before our childhood is over and I think, how wonderful that Jasmine didn't have to lose that innocence. She was allowed to be a little girl, as she should have been. The reason I didn't write this before was, I was afraid it would sound callous, because I know you and Jeff and the rest of your family would much rather have Jasmine still with you. I would too. I just think, if she had to pass away so soon, at least she retained that little girl part of her. I hope that makes sense. *Hugs* P.S. Your entries ALWAYS make me think. Always.
