Same phenomenon occurs in this house: when Dad and Tyler are home, it's a wreck (not to mention, noisier than a Dionysian bash). As for Gab...I went through the same thing: slobbiness, not brushing the hair, not bathing...and I'm happy to say that I am now unable to go one day without shower, nor walk past a mess without cleaning it up. (Of course, I'm nearly twenty-seven...)

Gee, that sounds so familiar. My husband is the same, when it comes to mess. By the way, this diary layout is very pretty.

Sorry I have to take back what I said about Jeff always having a home, he can only come when your here. Your Dad wouldn't pick up after two of us.And I guess Gab takes after well maybe I shouldn't say. But she can always come stay at Grandma's cause she does pretty good about things when she here.

Monica I am in the same shoes. Hailey is just like Gab she leaves her clothes where ever, and Waylon on the other hand leaves his shit everwhere. He comes home from work and throws his shit on the counter and shoes in the middle of the floor, he just leaves little things all over the house. And the dog same prob as you hair everwhere, I hate it... So we are in the same boat.

Although I have never had children of my own, I decided it would be a great idea to shack up with some guy who has two of his own. Both of them teenagers. For TWO+ years we went through the whole bathing thing. OMG, if there was ever a time I wanted to smack another human being, it was fighting with a 12/13/14 year old to take a bath! She wanted to play all day, come home smelling to HIGH heaven, and REFUSED to take a bath. Going into jr high didn't help. It was aweful! Of course, when she grew out of that phase (well, she hasn't completely), there was a whole different set of little things to replace it. ~L~ I guess there is just no way to get past those things.
