Hey, check out Massage Envy..they're everywhere... It's a great massage club that I joined while I was preparing to defend my dissertation. You can get any kind of massage you'd like. It's like 60$ per month for one 1 hour massage. BUT, all other 1 hour massages are $30. hmmmm massage... must have one soon... love ya!!!

It is not a good sign that the therapist talked about themselves the entire time. In fact, while I do know about the compelling power of Mo, the therapist probably talks like that to all clients. It is a bad habit we were warned against repeatedly.

I understand how you feel...but I don't really think it's about *us*. I think so many people in this world have little sense of decorum and privacy, coupled with the disconnect of today's world. In the case of the massage therapist, she had a captive audience. Who's going to get up in the middle of their massage and say: "Okay, I'm out of here. This is just way more than I want to know about you." With others, perhaps it's because people like you and I are too polite to walk away or say: "Um, yeah. You know, I don't really need to hear about all *your* drama."

You should find another massage therapist. This one totally robbed you of a prime experience. I knew my massage therapist outside of her office and she was a real b****. Hands down the meanest person I think I have ever dealt with on a regular basis. Her massages were outstanding. She was a perfectionist so her rooms were relaxing. Her demeanor at her office was professional but not uncomfortable. She had relaxing music and said it was up to me if we conversed. I chose not to. She gave me total control. It was fantastic. I'm telling ya, try it again.
