Good Lord! My sympathies to Jeff and all of you. The wheel can spin all it wants to, I just wish it would roll somewhere else for a while. (Not that I wish bad on anyone else, of course.) I know I won't get any choice, but I've been wrestling with my long term view: mind, then body or body, then mind? So far both are going about the same rate- can't do math or run anymore. Damn this disease. Damn it to Hell. My thoughts are with you. ~LA

Does your MIL have a healthcare proxy in addition to the DNR? The proxy document would appoint someone (Jeff?) to make decisions about medical care if she is unable to. This is a very good thing to have when someone has MS. There can be so many crazy manifestations with MS that it blows the mind, and the heart. My heart aches for you all.

This is a short note about my son-inlaw to those who don't know him. Jeff with all that he is dealing with now, still is thinking of others, I recieved a call from him this afternoon asking if we needed anything for our car, he was helping out some friends and was at the junk yard. How many are lucky enough to have someone like him in their family.
