Fascinating dream. :) Perhaps it could be that you're afraid that once you take the time to meet them halfway (i.e. by getting dressed), that they won't want to hear what you have to say (and run away). Just a thought.

It's a good question -- I don't know. I've had several dreams over the course of my life, as well as one tarot reading, that indicated it was somehow my life task to stand in-between these two worlds, to help them understand each other. It's a scary thing, and honestly, one I've only acted on in the safest ways (like writing here in my journal, which is read by Christian, Pagan, and who-knows-what-all). Maybe that's what the dream is saying -- that my need for safety is standing in my way.

Maybe you're right about the need for safety. My first thought was that they would have listened had you just dropped the sheet and spoken. I liked the planet thing, BTW. I'm from Mars...big surprise there, huh? ;)

I had that thought too, when I woke up. I for sure would have had their attention long enough to speak had I simply stood naked. In my other journal, a friend commented that she felt the nakedness symbolized how comfortable we are with each other, how open our hearts. Maybe that's part of it too -- I'm shielding my heart before I speak.
