Ah, so you have a reason for being road-raged? I have no bumper stickers but I do have a green shamrock stuck on my windscreen just below my rearview mirror. I doubt people behind me can see that. I think it's my unerring ability to ignore people who ride my arse in traffic. My friend Jaye REMOVED her rearview mirror because so many people "bright" her. She drives 40 mph on the highway though. I tend to do the speed limit (or a nudge more) in the slow lane. Not much reason for raging there. I think people are "comfortable" taking out their anger on the road. It's misplaced anger and unfortunately, a car is a lethal weapon.

(Visiting via Bindyree's page.) Okay, yeah, maybe the bumpersticker is phrased so as to get a rise out of someone, but the people who find it offensive need to look inside themselves and ask why. I mean, it's a sticker on a car - you don't know the person inside it, or any aspect of their lives - so is your hatred based on something as trivial as 'they don't think the same way I do' or something even more ridiculous like your *imaginings* of what that person is like? Judge not, check the plank in your own eye, and all that jazz. Why does your God need you to be offended on His behalf anyway?

Happy Belated Birthday, Mon! I've been down with the stomach flu, so not able to post, but wanted to let you know the men are unloading furniture in the rental even as I type, and we will be moving in Dec 27...so I can wish you a belated B-day in person! Hope your day was great! ::HUGS::

Hi - That would be 'smitten' that you were worrying about happening... I think you're braver than me with the bumper stickers. But then road rage is pretty bad here in the UK. Maybe it's because, having stricter gun laws, mad drivers use their vehicles as substitute weapons. I love (= hate) the stickers with 'baby on board'. Am I supposed to drive more slowly, or overtake and get out of the way? Perhaps change up a gear and drive more quietly... Or am I just supposed to be impressed that someone's mated successfully? I do wish the stickers would be more explanatory about the desired effect on the reader. Yours seem positively comprehensible by comparison! Best wishes as you drive!

Fundamentalists from any religion are scary. I believe that it's incredibly arrogant for anyone to believe that they are the only ones on the true path and no one else (or no other religion/sect/etc) is or can also be correct. We had an "Ankh if you love Isis" sticker on our car. No one honked. :| Oh well. What can ya do?
