I can empathize about wanting a partner, not another person to prop up. I feel for you.

No "conclusion jumping" here. :) I won't even pretend to know what you're going through...but I do understand you wanting a partner, someone who will stand as your equal. For whatver it's worth, know that you're in my thoughts.

There are so many things I could say, but mostly I just want you to know I'm here and praying for you (and will send you my extra pair of hubby-ass-kicking boots, if you think it will help). ::HUGS::

Obviously, I cannot offer a cure nor advice, but I have been reading your blog for a while and you are often in my thoughts. I really hope this all works out for you beautifully - and quickly. Billi-Jean

Oh girl...do I ever hear you about wanting someone strong enough to be *my* man. Think it's something about men?? Love you...

I'm sorry Monica. I'm sort of watching the same thing happen with Mom and Dad now. She really wants his help getting her new business off the ground and he's paralyzed. I wish to the Goddess I had words of wisdom to give, but I don't...but your frustration is completely valid and reasonable. Don't let anyone try to convince you otherwise.

Women are from Venus, Men are from Mars...or something like that. There is no telling what is going on in his haed. Maybe counseling could help you two sort it all out. You have kids and years invested. I hope you can work it out.
