I have a friend with MS. Her first episode was last summer, when we were together at a gathering. I have nothing to offer you or your family but the sincerest wish that all beings be free from fear and suffering. Thats all beings--you included.

Oh, Mon, will it ever let up for you two? ::HUGS:: If you need to reschedule our as-yet-unscheduled meeting, I totally understand. We'll be praying for you all.

"So universe, I'm sorry. Apparently the concept of a relatively calm part of my life is not in your plan at this time. ::sigh::" The universe knows you can handle it, that's why it has no plan for calm for you right now. When you need it, it will come. Best wishes for your mother in law. =)

"That field of buttercups was the lap of God for me. It was a meadow of hospitality, a sanctuary for my fears. It was like going to a parent for comfort. I felt at peace there."
~ Macrina Wiederkehr in Gold in Your Memories

I send you a magic eraser to wipe the slate of your heart and soul clean of all doubt and pain. I send you an enchanted permanent marker to write everlasting words of hope, peace, and love upon the fabric of your mind. I send you an afternoon meal in which you hold hands with the dancing cosmos with ever bite you eat. I send you a spring tonic, armfuls of tulips, and an abundance of peace, resembling a corridor of water. May you experience a moment during this day in a quiet corner of a garden, air filled with the twin scents of lemon and vanilla, existing in complete delight and pleasure imagining the possibilities of experiencing complete bliss and comfort while lying in a field of buttercups. May peace be with you, my friend.
Namaste.

I'm so sorry for what you're going through and what you have gone through. It certainly puts my problems in perspective, I will keep your family in my thoughts. :)

Oh MJ, I'm so sorry that you and Jeff have to go through this...I agree with bindyree, there must be a better and more compassionate means of letting someone go than just allowing their bodies to dry up. Many hugs and good thoughts to you, Jeff and the rest of your family right now.

Your family has been through so much. My heart goes out to you. There is a light at the end of the tunnel, and you will make it there. :) Hugs to you and Jeff.
