Still More Coolness

Pagan Bookstore Lady

Note to the Pagan Bookstore Lady:

If you have a headache when you wake up in the morning, take something for it. Do not go to work, make remarks to a baby about her noise level and your aching head when her parents are already trying to quiet her, and then tell her mother you "hope the little one understands" and that you didn't want to "hurt her feelings." And then don't act surprised when the mom cuts her shopping short, thereby spending less time in your store (and less money), even though you have a play place for children that would seem to invite them. And especially don't start acting super-saccharine nice after the baby has been removed from the store while mom checks out in the hopes of rescuing yourself from the effects of your earlier whining. Because the reality is, the "little one" couldn't care less about being asked to pipe down because you woke up with a pounder for whatever reason, and let's not speculate, but her parents could, and maybe you could make a pass at being an adult and apologize to them for not taking your Tylenol before your morning commute!

Thanks,

The Big One
