You know, running these banner ads is kind of like inviting company over on short notice. Unless you're the Diaryland equivalent of one of those hyper-organized, list-making, schedule-following, freaky people, everyone is going to notice the boring posts and grammatical errors like so many dust balls and toilet rings. Not to mix my metaphors, but it's hard on the ego, you know... all these people checking you out... no one adds you to their buddy list. It's high school all over again. You're know they're lookin' and if you don't get asked out, well, then something must be wrong with you, 'cause everyone wants to get laid at Diaryland, right?

Hmph. I must be that dorky-looking kid with glasses and buck teeth, toilet paper trailing from the clunky shoes beneath my polyester high waters. Or the living room that is so messy and repugnant that wild horses couldn't drag an unsuspecting guest back. Maybe my dog humped somebody's leg while I wasn't looking. ::sigh:: I guess I'll never know.
