Book, Interrupted

Today I'm Not the New Me came in the mail. It's by Wendy McClure, the author of that Dove-ad-related post of a few days ago? I'll just glance at it in the bathroom, I said to myself. I'm halfway through Dharma Punx and I should finish it first.

Hey, don't question my weird logic. Who's keeping track of whether or not I finish one book before starting another? No one, thank the gods, or I'd be in trouble. But still, I try to be reasonable, try to acknowledge the crazy amount of unread books waiting in the wings for their turn at glory by my bedside. I have no fewer than four books sitting by my bedside right now in various stages of reading -- and that's not counting Dharma Punx, which is downstairs by the couch!

Um, so now I'm on page 133 of I'm Not the New Me and feel compelled to tell you... it's fucking great! I know I'll end up finishing it today and then I'll pick up one of the others tomorrow.
