Don't forget about the vinyl seats and shorts. The flip side being the great days of ditching school for a pontoon boat ride into the coves of Lake Havasu for a spledid swim and lets not forget floating down the Colorado (a sport not well known here anyways) You definately have a different appreciating for water living in AZ. You're making me homesick :)but I can come visit

This entry is funny. I was just thinking to myself how much I miss sunshine, and how much easier life would be to be close to family again. But living in Seattle the months of November-February can do that to ya. Rich always says I need one good visit to Phoenix anytime between June and August to regain my appreciation for my new home. He's right, but sometimes I think I'd like to be able to live there for the winter and come back here for the summer. One of Seattle's saving graces is the seasonal distinction, but also the entertainment and culture. There's never a shortage of things to do, and true Seattlites are the ones who don't need an umbrella. :)
