::HUGS:: to Gab. In regards to families, I think we only start realizing that everyone's family is as weird as ours when we get older...until then, they are a constant source of mortification. But as long as Gab knows how very much you love her, the mortification will be bearable.

I have been thinking about you the last several days. I wonder if the pendulum of emotions is swinging high right now because you have time to feel it. You have been so busy with planning and moving and preparing, you haven't really had time to do much else. Now that you're somewhat settled and things are calming down, you have time to resume your interrupted grieving. *shrugs*

What a beautifully moving entry. Aunt Frances's sentiments are indeed wise - it's one of my favourite quotes, too. I'm thinking of you. Love, R xxx

You are doing one awesome job of priestessing your family and yourself. "Life is what happens to you while you're busy making other plans". Much love.

I know this is a hard time for you and for Gab. I went through this myself and with my son when my daughter passed. It is hard, she will be upset for a long time to come. It will get better and the pain will lesson at some point. However there will always be something that triggers those emotions. I think you are doing the right thing by letting her know you cry and that it's okay to cry. Take care and please get in touch with me if you ever need to talk!!
