I am glad that you expressed that you feel relieved. I am humbled and honored by your commitment to be true to your feelings.

yeah- sometimes I feel relieved that my dad is gone because I KNOW he was tired of being sick. but at the same time, I don't.

I guess I wish there had been a Jasmine without CF, but of course, she would have been different than the Jasmine I knew, I don't know exactly how.... You all are in my thoughts especially at this time...

Aww, I know how you feel. Sometimes I wish I was never born because I'm deaf but I quickly correct myself... I wish I WAS born, just not deaf.

I've been counting down the days, too, thinking of you all. There's nothing wrong with being grateful that your child is not in pain anymore...sometimes death is a gift (Buffyverse aside). ::HUGS::

*(*(*hugs*)*)* This was so beautiful. And that tattoo is the most hauntingly lovely one I have ever seen. Take care.

You are a brave woman to keep this journal. My situation with my mother was of course much different, but I remember feeling so guilty for the relief I felt after she died. She was in a lot of pain. I was relieved to be free of doctors, hospitals etc... I am glad you have the beautiful symbol of the dragonfly to remind you of your little girls freedom from pain. As always your diary is an inspiration to me.
