I just got done a major amount of archive diving in your diary. My goodness we do have quite a bit in common. I read all about Jasmine and I am so sorry about her passing. I can't even imagine having to go through that, to watch your child go through those last moments. My youngest was born with a heart defect and has had surgery, so I can understand how having a child with health problems goes. But still I can't fathom what it would be like to lose him. My condolences. About blogging, so far I haven't met anyone in person, but I have definitely got me quite a support system in dland. I could almost venture to say that I almost depend on it sometimes. I think I kind of belong to a clique here, but just like in real life (back in the ol' high school days, I mean) I have a ton of friends outside of that clique, too.

I think what started me blogging was just a fairly common sense of lonliness; having just moved to California and knowing no one but my roommate Andre has been both a blessing and a curse. What *keeps* me blogging is simply the amount of interesting story out there. I've been creating stories nearly as long as I've been alive. People are story, it's genesis and continuation and I'm endlessly fascinated by people, no more so than when they are being exactly who they are. It's the closest we can come to peeking at each other's brains, yes?

*what started? I posted that *why continue? Still fucked up *what I "think" of you? I always think, "She's young" That doesn't mean I think you're less-than. It doesn't mean I think you know little or a lot, that you have yet to experience things or you have...It just means you "seem young." Perhaps it means facing life head on and not by rote.

We'll definitely have to fix that soon. What keeps me blogging? I do a lot of writing in my line of work...but this is my place for exercising my writing muscles in something other than a legal forum. Also, I've come to care about what those on my buddy list write here, and I can't stop reading. That being the case, if for no other reason, I'll write because I feel as if I should reciprocate.
