On Our Way

We're on our way to Chicago today... leaving in a few hours. We pick up my parents at the airport at 3:30 and then check into our hotel. We have to be at O'Hare at 4 AM tomorrow morning. Ugh. That is so freaking early!

I THINK I read in the travel catalog that there is internet access there. I certainly hope there is. I know, I know, it's paradise and all, but I still want to check my email! At any rate, if there isn't an update for awhile, you'll know why.

I feel a little sad this morning. We started planning this trip with Jasmine before she died. She was so excited about going -- she wanted to lay on a white, sandy beach with a palm tree. I'm not sure if this trip is going to soothe her soul -- I don't think it really needs any soothing -- but I hope it will soothe ours.
