Just a Thought
Reading the news about brawling fans and pro athletes, brawling fans and artists at music awards and hunters killing each other, I can't help but wonder at (and fear) the rage in this country. Some articles have proposed that at least the first two incidents were rooted in racism. Maybe so. But then... maybe it's the division in this country. Maybe it's the leadership example that says if you so much as think someone is posing a threat to you, you have the right to swing first and ask questions later. Or is that... shoot first and ask questions later? Consciously or subconsciously, people are influenced by the example set by our government. Blame the media, blame racism, blame what you want... but the reality is, we have a president who thinks he's a cowboy and in the real world, he shoots first and asks questions later. This ain't no tv show or Hollywood movie. And Bush ain't Reagan. He's worse.
